Transformation and Renewal of the Mind

In order to be transformed, my mind must be renewed.  You and I both enjoy pleasures. There is nothing wrong with that. It’s how we were created. If we were not supposed to enjoy these pleasures, God would not have designed our minds to recognize pleasure. God experiences pleasure too. He is pleased with our faith and obedience. Pleasure becomes wrong and even sinful in our lives when we forget to please God first.

If you give God pleasure then all of your pleasures will be taken care of, guaranteed. You ask, “How does God get pleasure out of my life?”  If I live holy, will that give God pleasure?  If you live holy that will give you pleasure.  A separated consecrated lifestyle benefits you, not God.  God is already holy. Your holiness doesn’t affect him one-way or the other. He is holy regardless of whether or not you jump on the holy bandwagon. Holiness is a benefit to you, a safety mechanism, and a way of being positively identified. However, what gives God pleasure is your prosperity.

Let them shout for joy and be glad that favored my righteous cause. Ye, let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, which have pleasure in the prosperity of his servants. It’s really simple; when you are prosperous the Lord has pleasure. When you are not prosperous, he does not have any pleasure. I want to ask this question. “Did you give God pleasure so far this year?”  You thought you were giving him pleasure because you were at the altar saying, “Thank you, Jesus”.

He does not have pleasure in that alone. God has pleasure when you can take creative ideas and begin to prosper in it. God has pleasure when you are able to flip money. If you cannot flip money, you are not a faithful servant. If you cannot turn money, flip money, make money, you are not exemplifying the qualities of our creative God.  You may be faithful to coming to work and loyal to the job. But if you cannot create profit, then you are unfaithful in God’s eyes. In fact, He calls you, a wicked servant, because you are unproductive.

Challenge: Identify any unproductive areas in your life right now.

You are Body, Soul, and Mind

Three motives to live for. You live for the body, you live for the soul, and you live for the mind. God created these different facets in your life. You cannot focus on one and neglect the others.

Of these three motives, not one is better or holier than the other. All are desirable and none of the three, body, mind or soul, can live fully without the others living out their optimal expression. So, therefore, I need my body to express, in this realm and on this plain, all that I want to be, do, and have. I need the soul, which is the feeling of my desire, I need the mind to be empowered to become.

So, I need all three of these, and I live for all three of these. I take care of my body because my body has got to be reflective of this experience, or the vehicle that carries me into this experience.I have to feed my mind with right thoughts, so that my body does not become crippled from debilitating thought patterns. I have to make sure my mind is magnetized with the right substance, so it magnetizes the right things in my life, and not feed me the wrong experiences. My soul blesses the Lord, but in order for me to be transformed, my mind must be renewed. My mind cannot be removed it must be renewed.

Is there a facet in your being that you are sorely neglecting today? What can you do to address that?

Settling is a Sin

When you settle, you lack faith. When you have no faith, it’s a sin against God.

So, if there is a power to get wealth, you cannot be a giver until you get the power to get. You must have the power to get, in consciousness, before you can give in your reality. Let’s look at the law of being rich. Life is development. The purpose of nature is for the advancement and the unfolding of life. Every man should have all that can contribute to the power, to the elegance, to the beauty, to the richness of life. To be content with less is sinful.

Any time you are learning to live without, you have missed the mark. To be content with less is sinful. If I am going to be content without having, then I am literally living and dwelling in sin, because it is God’s will, or the will of the Father, for me to live in abundance. It is the will of the Father for me to have abundance, and to be abundant. Anything outside of His will misses the intended mark for His creation.

What lies about settling for something less have you prescribed to in the past?

God Wants You to Be Rich – The Truth of the Matter

I believe that there are laws that govern nearly everything in the universe, and that includes being rich. There is a law of being rich. The scripture that governs this law is found in Deuteronomy 8:18, But thou shalt remember the Lord thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that ye may establish his covenant which he swear  unto thy fathers, as it is this day. Now, you must remember that it is the will of God for you to get wealth. You must remember that it is he that gives you the power to get wealth.

It is the will of God for you to be wealth and to get wealth.

It starts with the identity of being wealthy.

If you don’t believe in this identity, then you are believing a lie. The truth is God created you for wealth. Otherwise, He would not have bothered creating the entire universe before He created you. When He designed you, He meant you to be wealthy.

Reject the lie of the enemy. When the Serpent lied to Eve, he deceived her into thinking she had something lacking and that God was withholding something from her. In reality, God created everything for humans. All He wanted was for you to trust Him about this goodness.

Reject the lie of lack, and accept the truth that God wants you to be rich.

What lies about poverty have you believed in the past?

The Two Masters

God says, “You cannot serve God and mammon.” He put mammon on the same level as himself. He called it a master and says you cannot serve two masters. Just think about that for a minute.  Why would God call money a master, unless money was himself? Worshipping or having money, apart from God, is twisted, doing God upside-down. Remember this, you cannot worship God and mammon, but you must worship God with

mammon. You are probably thinking, “Money is evil!” So many people have been falsely taught that. And when you have been given wrong information throughout the course of your entire life, it takes a whole lot of deprogramming and inner cleansing to be able to receive new workable information. Let’s face it, if mammon were evil, God would never have told you to make friends with it. He would never have told you to have money. The real deal is that God just wants you to put money in its proper perspective.  He wants you put the power in perspective.

What is your greatest talent or dream in life? If you had an abundance of money, what would you be doing to enrich the life of others in your community?

The Power of One

One is all and all that is one and that all is one, that one substance manifest itself as the seeming many elements of the material world. I want you to realize that one is all. That is why you really meet no one in life but yourself. All is one. There is one spirit. There is only one God, one faith, and one baptism. There is only one spirit. And that spirit simply manifests itself in different forms. Every person is just a manifestation of an invisible God. Everything you meet and encounter in life was created within yourself. Some people fail to recognize this truth because it places all blame in life squarely where it belongs—with you. Every person is just a manifestation of an invisible God.

Just think about the concept of eternity. Before you pass into it, you totally lose consciousness. Everything that has been programmed in you, races up to your mind all at once, everything, your fears and faiths. That is why mediation is so vitally important, because we teach you how to go down into the deep part of yourself and unscramble your fears. And, if you have too many fears, and your fears begin to take precedence over your

faith or your love, then you are in torment. That is hell. The opposite of love is not hate. The opposite of love is fear. And when you operate in fear it is directly related to your lack or inability to love. Perfect love casts out all fear.

It is the renewing of the subconscious mind, not the conscious mind, the renewing of the deep parts within you. The conscious mind catches it, but the subconscious carries it out. Many of you are trapped in undesirable housing situations and financial blockages, because you have not unscrambled the matter in the subconscious world, which is the glue that is holding your entire experience together.

You may say, “I am wealthy,” in your conscious mind, but have something totally different programmed in your subconscious. Deep down within, you say, “money is still dirty, someone is trying to get my money, suppose I lose all of it.” You think money is still “this,” when it has nothing to do with this at all. This is just the affect. Money is I Am.

What are the perspectives about money you should let go of?

The Worry Sickness

From whence you and I came, there was no need for any of those things, since you are spirit. And as spirit, you don’t have a need for aesthetical beauty and adornment. There was no need for an adult or child. There’s no need to be ugly or pretty. There’s not even life and death for that matter. Those things are all created from this earthly realm. As strange as it may seem at first, you really created the way you look. You named it and gave it a meaning. You created the way you feel.

Take credit for all of the situations going on around you, you created them too. Because you never realize those things, is exactly why you have not tapped into your higher self, and accessed the riches of the kingdom.  You are a co-creator with God. And, it is your assignment to create beauty and ugly, to create life and death, to create humor or sadness, to create happiness, gladness or mourning. It’s true, that you create all of this drama, as you have entered and descended into the world of illusion.

The cure for worry is meditation. Worry is meditation in the wrong direction.

What good thing can you meditate — focus your attention to — about today?

The Kingdom of God Within You

“But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Matthew 6:33

The Lord spoke to me and said, “When you have the Kingdom of God going on inside of you; you will become a money magnet.” Why is that?  When you seek ye, you have to seek ye first, and guess what you are first?  You are the Kingdom. You are the Kingdom of God, because the Kingdom of God is within. As within, so without, as above, so below, this is the very nature of the Kingdom of God.

If I get the Kingdom of God in my mind, I have the Kingdom of God in my feet. If I have the Kingdom of God within me, then I have the kingdom of God all outside of me. The Kingdom of God which is Christ’s rule and reign in the earth, totally overtakes my entire being, infusing me with His power and His ability.

Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on, is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

God has a care plan in place for the birds of the air. They intuitively recognize His plan, which is why they don’t worry about how they are going to survive. They just continue to soar not worrying about a thing. If your heavenly Father takes care of the mere fowl of the air, how much more will he take care of you? You are far more valuable than birds. God has you covered in every way especially since you have a covenant with God. So if God has a covenant with His people to provide all of their needs then why are so many of God’s children lacking and crying out for a morsel of bread? Somewhere there has to be an unsolved problem.

Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? The problem is worry.  Far too many people worry about things that they can’t do anything about. The cure for worry is meditation. Worry is mediation in the wrong direction. For the most part, we worry about things that we create in our own minds. We think up the things that we choose to worry about. Thoughts are the beginnings of all things. So that means that we thought up the concept of beauty, of skin, hair, and so on, and gave them aesthetical value.

What areas of your life are plagued with worries right now?

FACING THE TRUTH

Lately I have been discovering some universal laws and spiritual truths.

I sincerely believe that I am more spiritually acute now than I have ever

been. Believe me when I tell you that, I have no plans on going backward.

My spiritual acuteness is directly correlated to my growth and development

in every area of my life. That is my primary goal, for the church and universe at large to become so spiritually sharp that the fruit of their spirituality can be seen in every way.

The church of our Lord is growing. It is not a church that is going to be

fat, but rather lean. It will include those who are serious enough to become

disciples and unapologetically reap the benefits from living such a disciplined lifestyle. We are growing up into Him, His Nature. We are becoming Him. We are coming into a whole new level of consciousness.

Far too long vain excuses have been a commonplace for lack of spiritual

achievement. The real truth is that it is up to you to be what you want to be

or what you don’t want to be.  Also, it is up to you to have what you want

to have. Honestly, you can really do what you want to do. One of things

that I know is that truth sets people free.  Unfortunately, most people don’t

really want truth. They would rather be pacified with entertaining false-

hoods and soliciting sympathy.  If you do not do what you want to do, be

what you want to be, and have what you want to have, it is only your fault,

not God’s. We give you the principles; it is up to you to live your life. We

give you the truth; it is up to you to become that truth. We teach you the

word of God, so that you can become something far greater than you are

right now. We teach you how to reach deep inside to the child within.

The essence of your creation and creativity, which inevitably is your power

to passionately kiss wealth, is your imagination.

How are you going forward with your spiritual awareness?

Isaiah as a Social Prophet

In chapter 6 of Isaiah, Isaiah himself receives a vision of God in the Temple, and His image was glorious to behold (Isaiah 6:1-4). In response to the vision, Isaiah cries out, “Woe is me! I am lost, for I am a man of unclean lips, and I live among a people of unclean lips; yet my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts!” After this response, a seraph brings a burning hot coal from the altar and presses it against Isaiah’s lips. God explains the reason for this action, saying, “Now that this has touched your lips, your guilt has departed and your sin is blotted out” (v.7). Later on, Isaiah “heard the voice of the Lord saying, ‘Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?’ And [Isaiah] said, ‘Here I am; send me!’” (v.8).

Just like Isaiah, who desired to evangelize, we are also called to offer ourselves before God in this same manner. When God asks, in the church or in our hearts, “Whom shall I send?”, it is our right and lawful duty as his devout followers to reply resoundingly, “Here I am; send me!” Indeed, every Christian is called to be an evangelist.

God’s words spoken in the narrative, “Whom shall I send?” must have been rhetorical in nature. It implies that Isaiah was the one whom God should send since his lips were purified with fire. Interestingly, despite the seraphim in the temple with God and Isaiah, no angel stepped up to the plate, no angel offers to be sent. Why is that so? That is because we, as men and women of the earth, are called to love our neighbors. The angels are not commanded to care for the poor; we are. The Christian Church possesses a unique responsibility in the cosmos, since the Christian faithful has the joyful obligation to seek the well-being of others and to alleviate the suffering of the poor and needy.

When have you ever said, “Here I am, Lord, send me?”

APOSTOLIC EVANGELISM

If we wish to emulate the apostolic church claim that the apostles were God’s inspired men of God who gave to us God’s words, and believe that the apostles were the first churchmen of the Christian faith, then we must conform to the thinking and practices of the apostles. Acts may be the single most evangelistic book in existence; it has a great multitude of sermons from the apostles and sinners repenting their sins in hopes of being saved by God. In Acts, the Lord’s angel commanded Philip to “go toward the south to the road that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza” (Acts 8:26 NRSV). Being faithful to the Lord and to the evangelistic work set out for him from the Great Commission, Philip obeyed the command, rose, and went. The road he took was a vast expanse of desert and sand; however, he never complained or refused to set out on this mission. The Bible reveals that “he rose and went” (v.27a).

On his way to Gaza, Philip met an Ethiopian court official, who was a eunuch and a treasurer of the queen’s stores. By way of inference, he was likely Jewish: “he had come to Jerusalem to worship” (v. 27b). As this man was returning to Ethiopia from worshipping, he was reading the Book of Isaiah. When Philip saw this, he approached the eunuch at the urging of the Spirit (v.29). Philip asked, “Do you know what you are reading?” The eunuch replied, “How can I, unless someone guides me?” The man invited Philip to sit with him on the chariot to explain the passage he was reading (vv.30-31).

The passage the eunuch was reading was, “Like a sheep he was led to slaughter and like a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he opens his mouth. In his humiliation justice was denied him. Who can describe this generation? For his life is taken away from the earth,” (Acts 8:33; cf. Isa. 53:7). When the eunuch asked Philip what this Old Testament prophecy meant, Philip “opened his mouth, and beginning with this Scripture, he told him the good news [gospel] about Jesus,” (v.34).

Immediately after hearing the gospel, the chariot passed a body of water. The eunuch commanded for the chariot to stop, asking Philip, “See, here is water! What prevents me from being baptized?” He went down into the water, and Philip baptized him (vv.36-40). After this evangelistic work, “the Lord carried Philip away, and the eunuch saw him no more, and went on his way rejoicing,” (v.39).

Philip was no holier than you or me. He was an ordinary man, whom God called to carry the gospel to his neighbor. Just like Philip, who was commanded to go down the road and explain the gospel and the prophecies concerning Jesus to a Jew, we are also admonished to do God’s work in going to our neighbor in love to explain the hope we have because of Christ’s life and work.

Philip did not know exactly where he was going, or to whom he was going to speak, but his willingness and humility in this story is the ideal attitude of a Christian who commits to evangelizing the world. Therefore, when God asks us to go somewhere, we should not complain about difficulties we might face. Instead, we must comply joyfully, for our God works enormous wonders for us and our salvation. Because we have Christ’s light, we are called to share this salvation with everyone around us.

The Bible explicitly mandates Christians to care for the poor. Tending to their spiritual nourishment is equally important as assuring their physical well-being. According to Robert Wafanawaka, “A disregard of this mandate [of the gospel] will result in the continued existence of poverty. The fact that poverty has existed from ancient to modern times is a testament to the violation of a basic biblical mandate. Without doing something drastic about the situation of the poor, it is evident in both biblical and contemporary times that the poor will always be there.”

Can we actually convert the entire world to Christianity? Can the Church transform the today’s social apathy into compassion to help the poor? Perhaps not; however, the possibility is there. Whether it is plausible for the entire world to be evangelized or not, Christ’s command still stands immortally. We are called to care for the poor both spiritually and physically. We must not separate these two, lest our actions be void of true compassion.
