A "mentor" is one who is considered wise, trustworthy, serves as a model, offers counsel (when asked), draws on his/her many life experiences in trying to point the way, believes in lending a helping hand to uplift others, tries to maintains a positive attitude, is a confidant(e) encourages the efforts of his/her protégé, motivates. A mentor builds trust and exchanges ideas, always maintains confidentiality, listens, facilitates growth, coaches, consults, willingly discusses problems and concerns of his/her protégé.

Spiritual Protocol
It has been said, "Order is the FIRST law of nature." For the House of the Lord to properly function, it is necessary that there be a "spiritual protocol". "Protocol", according to the Random House College Dictionary, means "the customs and regulations dealing with…formality, precedence ['priority in order, rank, importance, etc.'] and etiquette ['conventional requirements as to social behavior, etc.']."
